Faithfully following
The reality of God's power
Resisting temptation
Leads to
Only more assaults.
Whirlwind of attacks
The mind a battlefield
In the midst of my soul
Sword and shield in hand
Exhausted from the struggle;
Yet, still
slashing
turning
defending
wishing I could be a perfect man.
